Don’t miss the SailPoint crew at Gartner’s Identity & Access Management Summit 2024 in London in a couple of weeks (March 4-5).

Gartner Identity & Access Management Summit helps IAM and security leaders decide which identity-first security initiatives to prioritise, how to modernise existing staffing models, and whether to invest in new tools to take their organisation’s security posture into the identity-first era.

Questions? We’ve compiled a brief SailPoint-themed, “Know before you go” below.

When is the event?
4-5 March, 2024 at the InterContinental London – the O2

Where can I find the SailPoint crew at the event?
We are excited to be a Premier Sponsor at this year’s event with multiple activities for attendees.

What SailPoint sessions are there?
Attend a SailPoint session to learn why SailPoint is an identity security leader in today’s market.

SailPoint: ASDA’s transformation journey to a unified identity security program
4 March | 1:45 – 2:15 p.m. GMT | Peninsula Ballroom A
How do you match the pace and velocity of your changing identity landscape and digital ecosystem all while continuing to enable the business? As one of the UK’s largest supermarket retailers, ASDA needed to implement a robust identity program to ensure compliance, seamless user experience, and smooth employee lifecycle management across 138,000 users. Join SailPoint SVP, Steve Bradford, for an interview with ASDA’s CISO, Simon Langley, for a discussion around how to successfully implement a strong identity security program outlining key steps and pitfalls to avoid along the way. (Session code: SPS5)

Roundtable: Elevating non-employee identity security, moderated by SailPoint
4 March| 3:15 – 4:00 p.m. GMT | Riverview 3
Research has shown that today, organisations are governing access for only 60% of third parties. As organisations are utilising more third parties to get business done, this significantly opens the door to both access governance and risk management challenges. Attend this workshop roundtable on non-employee risk management to learn and discuss some non-employee use cases, with outcomes that improve the non-employee onboarding experience, manage risk around de-provisioning access, correct compliance and audit deficiencies, and more. (Session code: VUR2)

Still have questions? Gartner’s FAQs should have your answers. See you there!

This Black History Month, the SailPoint All-in Diversity Inclusion and Belonging (DIBs) committee wants to recognize and celebrate the incredible black talent amongst our crew members. At SailPoint we appreciate the diverse voices that contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Without further ado, let’s meet some of our talented crew members:

Angela Livingston, Director of Global Events
Courtney Daniels, Engagement Manager, Professional Services
Jay Curtis, Associate Manager, Customer Success Management
Michelle Woodberry, Sr. Product Manager

Tell us about yourself.

  • Angela Livingston: I joined SailPoint about 14 months ago as Director of Global Events based in Austin. My team is responsible for managing and executing SailPoint’s presence at various tentpole industry events as well as our global Navigate events.
  • Courtney Daniels: I have worked at SailPoint for a little over 3 years now. I started off as a project manager in Professional Services and am now in the Engagement Manager role.
  • Jay Curtis: I have worked at SailPoint for two years and 9 months. I grew up in a military family and I have lived in Texas for over 30 years. I have two children and I really enjoy the challenges and joys of being father.
  • Michelle Woodberry: I’m a Senior Product Manager on the Connectivity & Integrations team, and I just celebrated my two-year SailPoint anniversary on January 31! I’m based out of my hometown, Columbus, GA, which is near Fort Moore Army base and about an hour and a half south of Atlanta.

How do you celebrate Black History Month?

  • Angela Livingston: I celebrate Black History all year. During February, I take advantage of the additional promotion and programs by supporting Black art, brands, businesses, etc. I also reinforce the additional attention paid to our culture during BHM to continue highlighting Black excellence to my sons, ages 3 and 7.
  • Courtney Daniels: In celebrating Black History Month, I believe it’s essential to honor and amplify the achievements, contributions, and resilience of the Black community. This can involve attending events, reading literature by Black Authors—I have a giant stack of books to be read by Black authors this month—supporting Black-owned businesses by buying Black-owned fashion and other items or visiting Black-owned restaurants in Chicago, and engaging in conversations that promote understanding and unity. It’s a time to reflect, educate, and actively contribute to fostering an inclusive society.
  • Jay Curtis: I celebrate Black History Month by reading and reflecting with my family. We usually purchase or check out a few biography books from the local library to read and discuss how influential African Americans have impacted our life today. I have had the opportunity to visit Lorraine Hotel in Memphis and Martin Luther King’s Museum in Atlanta, so I would like to take my family in the future.
  • Michelle Woodberry: In recent years, I’ve celebrated Black History Month by being more intentional about focusing on our history in the local area. Having attended the first Black high school in Columbus, GA, William Henry Spencer High School (established in 1930), much of the history and tradition was engrained in the culture of the school, but there’s always more to learn. There are events that celebrate local Black History in addition to the broader national context. Local historians share information through various platforms. Our museum also has special exhibitions. One of my favorite figures in Black history from our area is artist Alma Thomas. While her artistic career developed and flourished in Washington D.C., she was born in Columbus and lived here until she was 16. Her family moved to D.C. since it was less segregated and offered exposure to more educational opportunities. Our local music exhibited her beautiful work in 2022.

How has your identity influenced your professional journey?

  • Angela Livingston: Being Black and a woman in a leadership role comes with an interesting set of challenges. Often, I am one of the only Black leaders at my level and it can be disheartening to watch that remain unchanged. Having graduated from Howard University, a historically Black university, I know there are many smart and talented Black professionals in the workforce. I do my best to share opportunities with these networks with the hopes to increase Black representation across all levels. Additionally, I use my unique perspective to encourage diverse and inclusive programming within our events and participate in our Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIB) committee to contribute and assist with corporate efforts.
  • Courtney Daniels: As a Black woman in the tech industry typically predominated by white men, my identity has been a powerful force shaping my professional journey. It has fueled my determination to overcome challenges, provided a unique perspective that enriches problem-solving, and inspired me to advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Embracing my identity has been pivotal in navigating the professional landscape, contributing to my growth, and empowering me to make a meaningful impact not only within the organization but amongst my peers. It has taught me to speak up for myself and my beliefs while simultaneously advocating for equality and inclusion within my day-to-day professional life.

Who is an inspirational Black figure that inspires you and why?

  • Angela Livingston: I’ve had many Black teachers who have inspired me and helped to shape my life. In 5th grade, I had two young teachers, Ms. Rita Jett and Mr. Marlon Lewis, who made sure their students understood that Black history is American history. They were both genuine, encouraging, and expected excellence from me and my classmates and they sparked that sense of striving for more than what was typical in my family. In high school, my biggest influence was Mrs. Annie Robinson, a teacher who organized an after-school program focused on mentoring and creating more Black teachers and professionals. She was instrumental in showing students their future possibilities with a college education. She also arranged annual spring break trips to tour colleges and HBCU’s around the country. Being from a small town in the Midwest, many of us had never heard of HBCU’s. From one of her spring break tours in 10th grade, I visited Howard University and fell in love with the campus and their commitment to excellence. I decided to attend Howard and became the first person in my family to graduate college. I strive to continue Mrs. Robinson’s legacy by demonstrating possibilities to young people who just don’t know what is outside of their small community. I’m forever grateful to her for opening up my world of possibilities.
  • Courtney Daniels: Ava DuVernay. She inspires me for her groundbreaking contributions to film and storytelling, challenging industry norms. Her commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices, addressing social issues, and promoting diversity in film aligns with my values. DuVernay’s resilience, creativity, and advocacy make her a trailblazer, paving the way for more inclusive narratives and opportunities black voices and stories in the entertainment industry.
  • Jay Curtis: Both of my parents inspire me. My dad because of his incredible patience, the way he loves and cares for his family, and his work ethic. My mom inspires me because she is extremely intelligent, gritty, and has always instilled confidence in me no matter the situation.
  • Michelle Woodberry: As the first first Black congresswoman and first Black woman to seek nomination from a major party for President of the United States, Shirley Chisolm was a trailblazer in every sense of the word and is a huge source of inspiration to me. She is widely known for her presidential bid, but her life was so much more than that and reflects how committed she was to being a catalyst for change. Shirley Chisolm was “unbought and unbossed”, so conforming to the status quo was never an option for her and she remained unapologetically true to herself. She was a fierce advocate for racial and gender equity and educational opportunities, and she was outspoken about the plight of the poor. But she didn’t just talk about these things—she acted, and her values were reflected in the legislation she championed. “I want history to remember me… not as the first Black woman to have made a bid for the presidency of the United States, but as a Black woman who lived in the 20th century and who dared to be herself.”

What advice would you give to aspiring Black professionals?

  • Courtney Daniels: To aspiring Black professionals, my advice is to embrace your authenticity and your truth, leverage your unique perspective as a strength, seek mentorship, and relentlessly pursue your goals. Never underestimate the power of networking, continuous learning, and resilience. Advocate for yourself and others, contribute to diversity initiatives, and remember that your success is not only a personal achievement but a step forward for the entire community.
  • Jay Curtis: The advice I would give to Black professionals is to network and build professional relationships. I would say be confident and know that you have what it takes to be excellent.

How can we, as a company, continue to promote diversity and inclusion?

  • Angela Livingston: Talk about it, internally and externally. Invest in it with time, resources, and training. And intentionally recruit for all levels in diverse spaces.
  • Courtney Daniels: To foster diversity and inclusion as a company, we must prioritize creating an inclusive culture through open communication, awareness training, and mentorship programs. It’s imperative that we establish diverse hiring practices, encourage employee resource groups, and regularly assess workplace policies for inclusivity. Additionally, we must actively seek and amplify diverse voices in decision-making processes which includes focusing on hiring diverse leaders where the most impact can trickle down, and continually educate employees on the importance of embracing differences. Lastly, I believe we should regularly evaluate and adapt new initiatives, ensuring they align with the evolving landscape of diversity and inclusion and the changing times we live in.

This year marked our eleventh year for our annual Navigate conference. Filled with exciting product announcements, innovative ideas and insightful guest speakers, Navigate 2023 was one for the books. But what made this year’s event even more special was our partnership with Foster Village

You might be wondering, what is Foster Village? It is a local Austin organization that bridges the gap between those experiencing foster care and those who want to help, meeting practical needs and providing holistic support beyond the system. They accomplish this through three main pillars:

  • Equipping caregivers with support
  • Connecting families
  • Advocating for community

These pillars resonate with the SailPoint crew, especially as we strongly believe in living our values: thinking bigger and doing better daily. So, what better way to combine the two by incorporating a giving-back component onsite at Navigate Austin? This year, we had an activity station set up so Navigate attendees (SailPoint employees, customers, and partners) could stop by in between keynotes and breakout sessions to help build 300 sensory kits! Did you know that 80% of children experiencing foster care have sensory processing challenges? The kits we built at Navigate included multiple sensory toys for the children and foster families that help the foster families meet the children where they are and create a safe and comfortable environment where the children can regulate and focus their energy.

In addition to building sensory kits, attendees wrote letters of encouragement to the foster families. And, with the support of Navigate attendees, we cleared almost 70 items from Foster Village’s Amazon Wish List to provide additional supplies to the children and families they serve. Seeing the results and participation from this event is a testament to the community we have in and surrounding SailPoint. We believe in bringing out the best in one another in an exciting, collaborative, caring, and fun environment, and that’s exactly what we accomplished with this partnership.

SailPoint has had long-lasting relationships with non-profits such as Foundation Communities, Habitat for Humanity, and Code2College, and we are always looking to expand and add new partnerships in the local community. As we continue to grow a more global footprint with our events, our goal is to “leave every city better than we found it,” and we feel very fortunate to have made a difference for Foster Village this past Navigate.

Earlier this month, we kicked off our Navigate 2023 events, starting in Austin, TX. From exciting product news to insightful demos and more, we wanted to make sure you didn’t miss any of the exciting moments or announcements.

Customer awards

At SailPoint, we know that when our customers succeed, we succeed. That’s why we value their stories and journeys as much as ours, and love when they raise their hands to share their expertise and success stories. At Navigate in Austin, we honored several global customers that  have shown leadership and innovation in using automation, integration, and intelligence in their identity security programs to maximize the business outcome. Each of the winners demonstrate that identity security is core to their business.

Unpacking the Horizons of Identity Security 2023-24

As our digital horizons expand, peppered with cloud innovations and looming cyber threats, charting the right course isn’t a mere recommendation—it’s essential. SailPoint, in collaboration with Accenture, recently published “The Horizons of Identity Security 2023-24” report, which extends upon last year’s introduction of these key concepts and dives deeper into critical issues.

Women in Identity Luncheon

We celebrate the women in the identity industry every year with our Women in Identity luncheon. This luncheon is aimed to discuss challenges women face in the industry, and share wisdom, provide access, and advocate for career advancement. Attendees heard what things—big and small—they can do to champion and celebrate women in the workplace. After all, we will achieve more together.

Identity University

With 3.5 million unfilled cybersecurity jobs worldwide, we are opening no-cost access to introductory-level identity security training to address the immediate need to close the cybersecurity skills gap. Identity University offers customers, partners, and now, aspiring SailPoint experts, a variety of ways to broaden their identity security skill set and knowledge, including over 160 on-demand courses for busy professionals to train at their own pace, on their own schedule, from wherever they choose.

Unleash the power of identity security: A guide to SailPoint Atlas

SailPoint Atlas is the next-generation multi-tenant SaaS platform that supports identity security for the modern enterprise today and tomorrow. Serving as the foundation for SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, Atlas delivers the critical elements needed to build, maintain, and scale a strong, enterprise-class identity security program.

Introducing SailPoint Data Access Security: Intelligently govern and secure critical data

SailPoint Data Access Security is a modern cloud-based data access governance solution that empowers organizations to discover, govern, and secure critical unstructured data as an integral part of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud. The new offering accelerates the work of identity security teams by proactively discovering hidden data access risks and keeping critical information safe.

Improve security with the principle of least privilege

SailPoint is delivering crucial activity information in our identity security cloud solution for identity teams and other stakeholders responsible for managing access to SaaS applications. SailPoint’s Activity Insights provides information about usage patterns and activity trends for entitlements and applications.

What’s next?

Like our CEO said, we’re committed to accelerating businesses in unimaginable ways, with the power of identity at the core.

With that in mind, we’re taking Navigate on the road! Experience a one-day Navigate  around the globe and see how identity security is accelerating through a local lens. Join us in the following cities:

Washington, DC

Sydney

Toronto

São Paulo

And you better believe we have even more exciting announcements coming! One of them is Navigate 2024! Next year’s conference will take place in Orlando, FL on October 21 – 24.

Make sure you follow our social channels as well as our blog to stay up with the latest and greatest news from SailPoint.

At SailPoint, we know that when our customers succeed, we succeed. That’s why we value their stories and journeys as much as ours. Our amazing customers have always raised their hands to share their expertise and success stories. That’s why we are so excited to take a moment to celebrate our customers.

Navigate, our annual conference, wouldn’t be complete without our Customer Awards Program. Every year, we honor a select number of global customers, demonstrating that identity is essential to their business. These customers represent SailPoint’s core values of innovation and impact. Please join me in congratulating and thanking each award winner listed below.

Identity Security Champions: We would like to recognize three customers that have shown leadership and innovation in the areas of automation, integration, and intelligence in their identity security program. These three companies are leading the way in identity security and proving that it is core to their business. Congratulations to:

Humana – Humana will automate nearly 22 million actions this year with SailPoint. That’s equivalent to over 500 FTE worth of effort. They also are looking to the cloud and taking advantage AI & machine learning to reduce risk exposure, streamline processes and make their employees more effective, reduce costs, manage compliance, and support continued growth.

Trane Technologies – Trane Technologies is not only automating identity security at scale, but doing so with a focus on sustainability. With a combination of SailPoint IdentityNow and SaaS Workflows, they have dramatically reduced manual support tickets from 100K per year to 60,000. Automation enables them to fulfill an access request in just 30 seconds!

VSP Vision – VSP Vision is improving user experience while increasing identity security and reducing risk. They are integrating with Workday, SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake and more. In fact, according to one of the Snowflake consultants working to bring Snowflake into VSP, their IdentityNow integration with Snowflake “is on the bleeding edge for access management and getting it set up.” We couldn’t agree more.

Admiral of the Year:  As much as a great pitch and amazing product demo can wow you, nothing is more powerful than the voice of a customer. We are grateful for all of our customers in the Admirals Club reference program, and two have gone far above and beyond in sharing their experience with SailPoint. From speaking at Navigate to taking 1:1 calls from other customers to allowing us to film on-site and capture their story, these two SailPoint advocates are in a class of their own.

David Hetzler, Director of Cybersecurity at The Home Depot

Andy Weeks, Associate VP, Identity & Access Management at Humana

Digital Transformation Award:  Digital Transformation is a term that is bandied about a lot these days. What does it mean? It’s figuring out how to use technologies to deliver or improve products and services and to streamline process. Moving to a SaaS based model enables growth, resilience and efficiency—and is a catalyst for broader digital transformation. Our award winner has really embraced not only moving their SailPoint solution to the cloud, but also the wider digital transformation for their business. We are proud to recognize ExxonMobil.

Community Awards North Star: SailPoint is proud to introduce, for the first time, the North Star program, SailPoint Community’s super user benefits program. These members are our Identity Security community advocates who contribute their knowledge to advance the industry forward. Individuals who’ve helped others learn by way of authoring solutions, posting in product forums, answering community questions, leading or engaging in User Groups, welcoming new members, and in general, just getting people excited about the identity security space.

Our heritage is defined by our ability to shape and reshape identity security to fit the constantly changing needs of our customers. Grady Summers laid that out clearly in his recent blog post. This is what it takes to be the leader – you’ve got to lead, you’ve got to stay on your front foot, you’ve got to constantly push the envelope.

So, when I sit here and think about our next evolution as a company and as the leading technology in this space, a question comes to mind: What “should” next-gen look like?  Anyone can claim they deliver a “next-gen” solution, but what does that mean in the context of enterprise identity security?

I look at it like this: what do our customers need to address today – and tomorrow? What are the must have’s? And most importantly, what business value does it deliver?

First – our customers’ needs

There is nothing about the enterprise identity security challenge that screams “give me something good enough” to address my needs. These are complex, highly sophisticated, often highly regulated enterprises. There is a lot going on every single day to keep these companies moving fast. The key is to deliver a solution that takes on the complexity on behalf of customers so that what they see is simplified but sophisticated, administered with ease.

At the same time, the balance between speed and security needs to be tightly orchestrated. And the depth of security policy has to address the following:

  • All enterprise identities – spanning both employees and non-employees, including contractors, software bots, third-parties, etc.
  • All levels of access – across sensitive and regular user access
  • All critical applications and data – both cloud and on-prem
  • With management of access, down to the entitlement level
  • And access granted on an as-needed or “just in time” basis

The parameters I just described are constantly changing as each identity joins, moves, and eventually leaves the business. Multiply all of that change by the number of apps, data, and entitlements each identity has, and the ability to manage it all becomes exponentially harder, if not impossible if only managed by humans alone. Next-gen identity security has to be fueled by AI/ML – this is table stakes. There’s no way any large enterprise can handle the level of accelerated change happening across the business without the aid of automation. Through continuous machine learning, we fully believe AI will absolutely trump traditional convergence in this market and underpins true next-generation identity security.

Second – what are the must have’s for the next-gen identity security solution?

It needs to be driven by policy – not roles – to determine if and when access is granted, to what degree, and within what timeframe. We’ve moved far beyond simply granting access and assuming good intent, that that access will be used in the right way, at only the right time, no more, no less. Any access point can become a point of entry for an adversary at any given time. For that reason, enterprises need the ability to create a dynamic trust model that is context aware, with policy as the blueprint. Arming them with the intel needed to grant access just in time, and then shutting down that access when it’s no longer needed. All of this needs to be built on a platform, so that enterprises can build an identity security foundation that fits their unique business needs, delivering extensibility and scalability on repeat.

And third, what business value does next-gen identity security deliver?

For starters, peace of mind. That every enterprise has a trusted technology ecosystem, one that allows the business to flourish as quickly and as seamlessly as possible. Next-gen identity security should ultimately equip every enterprise to effortlessly manage and secure their identities at any speed, at any scale. The outcome of that is a business that can compete fiercely, can grow and evolve at any pace, and can drive business acceleration that enables every identity to do their best work, securely and efficiently.

This is how we define next-gen identity security at SailPoint. We’re ready to reveal how we plan to deliver on this vision during Navigate next week and hope to see you there. In the meantime, keep a close eye on this space as we get ready to publish the final installment of this blog series, authored by our leader and founder, Mark McClain where we reveal our future trajectory.

Heading to Navigate 2023 in Austin, TX? We want to ensure you have all the details to make your experience seamless and memorable. Here’s everything you need to know before arriving in Austin for this transformative event.

Registration at Fairmont Austin

Upon arrival at the Fairmont Austin, head straight to the dedicated “Navigate 2023 Registration Desk.” The SailPoint crew will have your event package ready, which includes your badge, agenda, and other essential materials. Remember, this is your first stop for the week; being registered will make access to all other activities smooth. Pro tip: Even if you are registered generally for Navigate, if there is an event on the agenda marked “pre-register” (example: Identity University and Women in Identity Luncheon) make sure you’re signed up for those specifically ahead of time.

Your guide to meals at Navigate 2023

Austin is a city known for it’s culinary treasures, and we’ll be serving some up along the way. Your Navigate 2023 conference pass includes all meals and snacks, so here’s when you can plan to eat on Tuesday and Wednesday:

Breakfast: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM

Location: Congressional Ballroom (3rd Floor)

Lunch: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Location: Congressional Ballroom (3rd Floor)

Each meal and snack break will cater to a variety of dietary requirements, ensuring everyone has something that meets their needs.

Join the community service activation benefiting Foster Village

At SailPoint, we believe in giving back. Each year at Navigate, we’ve integrated a community service activation where attendees can participate in a service project that will positively impact the Austin community. This year, we will be working with Foster Village which is an organization that supports and serves local foster families. Be sure to set aside some time to contribute; details will be available at the Registration Desk.

The must-attend conference party

Get ready to be a part of one of Austin’s most storied live music institutions at the Conference Party! On Tuesday night, join the entire Navigate team at the iconic Stubbs in downtown Austin as you network with peers, make new friends, and enjoy some fantastic live music. Stubbs is a short walk (about .5 mile) from the Fairmont.

Your Navigate 2023 attire guide

Austin has a laid-back vibe, and so does Navigate! Business casual is the way to go. Think: comfortable yet professional. Don’t forget your comfortable shoes and relaxed attire for the conference party. While Austin is warmer outdoors (approximately 82°F/27°C in October), the meeting spaces can tend to run a bit cooler. Bring a sweater or a light jacket to make sure you are comfortable.

Smooth transitions: Your AUS airport commute

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is the primary hub for visitors flying into the city. Here are a couple of suggestions for your commute:

Ride-sharing: Services like Uber and Lyft operate extensively in Austin. You can book a ride right from the airport to the Fairmont.

Airport Shuttle: Many shuttles operate from AUS to major hotels and landmarks in Austin. Check with the shuttle service desks at the airport for availability and schedules.

Car Rentals: If you prefer driving yourself, there are numerous car rental services available at the airport.

Remember, Austin traffic can sometimes be unpredictable, so always allocate buffer time, especially when returning to the airport.

Download the official Navigate app

Stay updated on the go by downloading our official “SailPoint Navigate app.” With real-time notifications, schedule updates, speaker profiles, and more, these tools will be your most helpful resources during the event. Plus, they provide a fantastic platform to connect with other attendees and share your experiences.

Navigate 2023 promises to be an enlightening and enriching experience for everyone. With a thoughtfully curated blend of insightful sessions, networking opportunities, and community service, we’re ready to make this Navigate the best one yet. However, if you can’t attend this year’s event in person, we’ve got you. We’ll be live streaming our three keynote sessions, and we’d welcome your teams to watch. You can register here and watch our main stage from wherever you are.

Navigate 2023 is not just another event to consider attending—it’s the event for identity security professionals. Since 2012, SailPoint customers and partners have come to expect a gathering where industry pioneers, leaders and even newcomers converge to share the deepest level of identity security knowledge, expertise, and vision around what’s next in identity security. The conversations that start here will shape the industry for years to come.

Let’s explore a few reasons why Navigate should be on your calendar for this October.

The networking experience: Not your average meet-and-greet

Whether exchanging business cards with a C-level executive or getting a quick demo with a SailPoint identity security expert, each interaction is designed to deliver value you can take back to your extended team.  And don’t forget the after-conference events! These are designed to be more than just social gatherings; they are networking opportunities combined with the one-of-a-kind flair only Austin can bring. Check out our schedule for the official conference party and other networking events.

Fireside chat: An insider’s look with SailPoint and Thoma Bravo

Curious about the future trajectory of identity? SailPoint CEO, Mark McClain and President of Worldwide Field Operations, Matt Mills will be joined by Thoma Bravo’s Andrew Almeida and Seth Boro for a Fireside Chat. You can expect a real, candid conversation with industry pioneers who influence where things are headed. Far from a mere update on quarterly goals or new product features, this is your chance to get an intimate look into the visions shaping tomorrow’s digital identity landscapes.

Spotlight on guest speakers: The lineup you’ve been waiting for

We take great pride in building an agenda full of innovators, thought leaders and dynamic communicators, and that’s exactly what you can expect at this year’s event.

SailPoint’s President of Worldwide Field Operations, Matt Mills, will take the main stage on Tuesday, October 10, to discuss the next generation of modern identity security with Accenture’s Simon Gooch. This session promises to be filled with industry insights and key takeaways for today’s modern enterprises.

Kevin Mandia, Chief Executive Officer at Mandiant at Google Cloud, is also joining us at Navigate on Tuesday morning.

Our keynote address will be given by Greg Mckeown, author of two New York Times bestselling books, Essentialism and Effortless. The way of the Essentialist isn’t about getting more done in less time. It’s not about getting less done. It’s about getting only the right things done. And in doing so, you will move faster, driving the right impact at the right time. In this keynote, Greg McKeown will provide the building blocks to becoming an Essentialist, working as effortlessly – but as impactfully as possible – to hit your business goals.

But that’s not all! Check out the  full agenda including breakout sessions to get  a layout of what Navigate 2023 has to offer.

Practical learning: Hands-on workshops and demos

Get ready to get interactive. You’ll find hands-on sessions designed as immersive experiences to allow you to engage directly with product leaders and experts at SailPoint. No matter where you are in your identity security skill development, we have a workshop designed for you.

Vendor showcase: A glimpse into the future of tech

For those who are perpetually curious about what’s on the horizon in tech, the vendor showcase is a must-see for your agenda. This isn’t your typical collection of conference booths; it’s a carefully curated presentation of groundbreaking technologies and solutions that are poised to become industry standards. SailPoint is proud to work with the most innovative partners in the identity security industry, so come prepared with the areas of your business where you could use additional support and an open mind.

Are you ready to accelerate your identity journey? Secure your spot now!

From in-depth workshops to high-caliber networking opportunities, you won’t want to miss this year’s event. Spots are limited, so if you haven’t made plans to attend, it’s time to secure your place in Austin.
